A New Beginning..

Well, as my family and friends know, my man came over to visit me from the UK for two weeks, and we had a wonderful time involving Sea World, the beach, nights out with wonderful people, and the best part- a proposal!

Yes that's right- we are engaged!

So how did it happen?
Well, the other morning my man awoke me at 6am.. yeah 6am.. as you can imagine I was not super stoked at it all. I probably would have ignored him and gone back to sleep, but once you move in the mornings, the dogs wake up and want to go outside. Thus, I also had to get up.

We went down to the beach, and it was freeeeezing! I'm talking a comforter and two blankets freezing. But hey, what do you expect when the sun isn't up yet to warm you..

Anyway, we watched the sun slowly come up over the clouds, bathing the sky in pattern of red, followed by orange, and finally yellow. As the sun finally merged in full, my man got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Obviously, I said yes!

So as any sunrise beach proposal should be, we followed it up by enjoying some champagne in seashells (don't worry, I cleaned them first). 

And that's my proposal story! 

We have been dating for 2 years and 5 months, across 3 different countries. Our relationship has not been easy, due to the distance (and of course immigration). However, we've made it this far, and are not going to give up on our happily ever after!
